The name of my village is Fatehpur. It was named after Hazrat Shah Soleman Fateh Gazi (R:). It is an old & beautiful village. It looks very nice. It is under Madhabpur upazila in the district of Habiganj. It is about 2 miles long & 1.5 miles wide.
About five thousand people live in this. There are many Muslims, some Hindus also live in the village. Most of the people of our village are educated. Some are highly educated. There are also a number of businessmen who live in this village. There are also a few teachers, doctors, servicemen. There are also a farmers live in this village. Our land is very fertile.
There are two primary schools, two high schools, a KG school, a Mosjid, a Madrasa, a health care centre, a post office etc in our village. There is a big playground in our village. There is a market in the village. It sits whole day.
The communication system of our village is very good. We can go to different places by bus, train from our village.
The environment of my village is very good. I feel proud of my village very much. I like & love my village very much.
